yamin chehin L.Ac., Dipl. O.M. |

 |
|
Yamin Chehin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She received her BA in Social Communication from University of Buenos
Aires in 1992 and travelled around South America for 2 years studying how different cultures express their beliefs through
specific movement patterns.
Later, she received advanced training in both the Alexander Technique and Floor- Barre. These gave her a deeper
understanding of the actual mechanisms of movement. From her work with cultural patterns of belief stored in the body and
movement re- education, she developed a creative method for acknowledging stress and guiding students toward releasing
stress loads unnecessary stored in muscles and bones.
Her lifelong involvement with communication and body movement awareness, eventually lead to a more formal study of the
patterns of energy flow along the human body meridians described by Chinese Medicine. She is a Senior Instructor in the 8

Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University in Marina del Rey, California. She is passionate about

kiril conchev LMT |
| |
 |
|
Kiril Conchev is a licensed massage therapist with over ten years of experience. He studied various modalities of massage
in both Europe and the US, and incorporates these diverse techniques into his massage. Kiril's background includes being
the primary massage therapist for a European soccer team, and working in exclusive Bulgarian and Austrian ski resorts.
Upon moving to Los Angeles, he trained in lymphatic drainage, reflexology, deep tissue and sports massage, and completed
California Healing Arts College, one of the top ten massage schools in the US.
His aim is to provide a treatment that is both therapeutic and deeply relaxing. His specialty is working with athletes and
people with chronic muscle ailments. Kiril tailors every massage to the individual needs of every client, combining his years
of training and experience with genuine care for the well-being of his clients.
Here are some of the treatments he offers:
| deep tissue — |
a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue.
Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure
will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release
chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions.") |
| |
| sports massage — |
a special form of massage that is typically used before, during, and after athletic events. The purpose of
the massage is to prepare the athlete for peak performance, to drain away fatigue, to relieve swelling, to reduce
muscle tension, to promote flexibility and to prevent injuries. |
|
|
| reflexology — |
the physical act of applying pressure to the feet , hand and ears with specific thumb, finger and hand
techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that reflect an
image of the body on the feet, hands and ears with a premise that such work effects a physical change to
the body. |
|
|
| lymphatic drainage — |
Lymphatic drainage therapy consists of a manual massage that focuses on restoring the natural flow
of the lymphatic system, which promotes health as well in other bodily systems such as the circulatory,
respiratory, muscular and endocrine system. Highly recommended before and post-plastic surgery! |
|
|
| trigger point therapy — |
Trigger points are accumulations of waste products around a nerve receptor. Trigger points form
in muscles which have been overused or injured due to an accident or surgery. Increased muscle tension is the
primary side-effect of trigger points and pain is the most common secondary effect. In Trigger Point massage
therapist and client work together as a team to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment. |

gavin allister Ph.D

|
Gavin Allister is a certified reflexologist with over six years of experience. Coming from a background in biology with
specialization in neurophysiology, he became interested in alternative healing therapies, of which reflexology was the one that
most resonated with him. Gavin practices Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology, also known as the “Flocco Method.”
Many experts suggest that Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology balances the nervous system and strengthens the immune
system; its profoundly relaxing and soothing effect can be felt since the very first session. These general features make it
particularly helpful for individuals in stressful situations. But Integrated Foot Hand Ear Reflexology can also be very targeted,
helping to relieve headaches and migraines, toothache, sinusitis, digestive problems, urinary problems, PMS, lower back pain,
sleeping problems, and many other health issues. |
