Meet our Speakers
Dr. Miles Reid is a Licensed Acupuncturist and a National Diplomat in Acupuncture and
Chinese herbology. A medical doctor from Argentina, he graduated from the
University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine and practiced Family Medicine in
Argentina before moving to the United States. He completed his Masters Degree
in Traditional Chinese Medicine with highest honors from Yo San University in
Marina del Rey, California, where he is currently a faculty
member.
In addition to his formal
medical training, Dr. Reid has a keen interest in the shamanistic traditions of
ancient Mexico, with more than ten years of training under the tutelage of Dr.
Carlos Castaneda. Currently, Dr. Reid
practices integrative medicine at his private clinic, Tilo Medical Center in
Beverly Hills, California.
Ms. Aerin Alexander, Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner (CFP), has been teaching physical
movements and dance in Argentina and the United States for the last 20
years. The main focus of her work has
been in helping people to restore their ability to move with ease, elegance and
joy, free of pain. She teaches group
classes and individual lessons based on the Feldenkrais Method® of somatic
education: slow and gentle movement intended to develop greater awareness and
to restore balance, flexibility and coordination.
Ms. Alexander is a
Kinesiologist, completing her Master’s Degree in Exercise Science at the University
of California, Northridge. She has
additional experience working with sleep disorders and is a certified Sounder
Sleep Therapist®. She is also a
certified Bones for Life® teacher, a system of movements that promotes bone
health.
